Consumer prices in November 2020, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 3,0 percent (with an increase of prices of services – by 7,8 percent and goods – by 1,3 percent), according to Statistics Poland (GUS).As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 0,1 percent (with an increase of prices of services – by 0,5 percent and a decrease of prices of goods – by 0,1 percent). In November of the current year, compared with the previous month, the highest contribution to the total consumer price index came from higher prices related to restaurants and hotels (by 1,0 percent), dwelling (by 0,2 percent) and communication (by 1,0 percent), which increased the index by 0,06 pp and 0,04 pp each, respectively. Lower prices related to clothing and footwear (by 1,2 percent), food (by 0,1 percent) and transport (by 0,2 percent) decreased the index by 0,06 pp and 0,02 pp each, respectively, according to GUS.
