The value of construction work performed in Serbia in Q3 this year decreased compared to the same period last year, at current by 18.9 percent, and at constant by 17.2 percent, the Republic Bureau of Statistics announced. Observed by regions, in Belgrade, the value of work performed in the third quarter increased by 2.8 percent, while in other parts of Serbia it decreased. The decline was 6.3 percent in Sumadija and western Serbia, 22.1 percent in Vojvodina, and 47.1 percent in southern and eastern Serbia.
Of the total value of construction works, 95.8 percent were performed on the territory of Serbia, and the remaining 4.2 percent on construction sites abroad.
