Krakow is among the smaller warehouse markets in Poland. Nevertheless, its total warehouse stock has increased by almost 260 percent over the past five years, according to Axi Immo. Investors and occupiers have been attracted by this city’s location and large business potential. During the first six months of 2020, two investment transactions were finalized on the Krakow warehouse and logistics market. The first transaction was 7R and Hillwood’s sale of a 41,000 sqm built-to-suit building within 7R Park Krakow to a fund managed by GLL Real Estate Partners. The second deal was GLP Group’s acquisition of Goodman Group’s CEE warehouse assets, which includes Goodman Krakow Airport Logistics Centre (115,500 sqm). This portfolio transaction closed in Q3 2020 following approval from the Polish competition authorities, according to Axi Immo.
