Sold production prices in Poland’s industry sector decreased by 1.6 percent y-o-y and increased by 0.1 percent from what was reported in August, according to preliminary data published by Statistics Poland. The biggest price growth was recorded in mining and quarrying (1.9 percent). Mining of metal ores was up by 5.1 percent, while mining of coal and lignite was down by 0.8 percent. Price increases were also seen in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (0.3 percent) and in manufacturing by 0.1 percent, according to Statistics Poland.
