Average paid employment in the Polish enterprise sector fell 1.5 percent y-o-y in August and by 2.3 percent m-o-m. Average gross wages and salaries, meanwhile, increased 4.1 percent y-o-y, amounting to PLN 5,337.65, according to data published by Statistics Poland. In August, a number of pre-pandemic full-time jobs were restored in the sector. This contributed to a 0.7-percent growth in average pay compared to July, according to Statistics Poland.
