According to the Ministry of Finance data published on Thursday by Puls Biznesu, LOT Polish Airlines recorded a tax loss of PLN 374.3 million, with revenues of PLN 7.5 billion. In the previous year, LOT Polish Airlines had lower revenues by over PLN 1 billion, but they had PLN 297.1 million of tax income. The airline authorities explain that in 2019 the costs increased significantly, in 2018 they amounted to PLN 6 billion, and in 2019 as much as PLN 7.9 billion. At present, LOT Polish Airlines refrains from further commenting on the matter.
