Romanian online retailer eMAG is investing €90m to develop a new logistics center along the A1 motorway at km 19. The center will cover 130,000 sqm. Construction is set to break ground this month, with completion set for next September. The new warehouse will be supplied with green energy through 40,000 sqm of solar panels, and trees will be planted over a 100,000 sqm area. The facility will be fully operational by July 2022. The retailer owns the land that the center will be developed on. The company has another logistics center located along the A1 motorway, offering 126,000 sqm.
