The Russian airline Aeroflot announced that it has canceled flights from Moscow to Tivat for the rest of this year. The route hasn’t been operated since mid-March when the National Coordination Body introduced a temporary ban on regular air traffic at Montenegrin airports. Even after the opening of the airports in Tivat and Podgorica at the end of May, Aeroflot’s service to Russia has never renewed despite Montenegro putting Russians on its list of countries whose citizens can enter Montenegro without being quarantined. However, the Russian government is ready to allow Montenegro Airlines to fly from Tivat to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Aeroflot announced that the line from Moscow to Tivat will return only at the end of March next year.
