Foreign trade turnover in Poland amounted to PLN 393.3bn between January and May, while imports amounted to PLN384.3 bn. The totals are based on exports at current prices. The positive balance reached PLN 9bn, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). In comparison to the corresponding period of 2019, both exports and imports decreased by 7.4 percent and 9.6 percent respectively. The decrease in turnover between January and May of this year was related to the Covid-19 restrictions, according to GUS.
