The city of Belgrade has put part of the Belgrade Palace- Beogradjanka up for sale at a starting price of €20.6m.
The building offers over 19,000 sqm of space for business, but the city will require the buyer to carry out a reconstruction project within three years at a cost of at least €8 million. Applications for the public tender for the purchase of the property are due by July 29.
At 101 meters high, with 23 floors, the Belgrade Palace is one of the most recognizable, but also the tallest buildings in the capital. When it was built in 1974, it was the tallest building not only in Belgrade, but also in the entire former Yugoslavia.
