Russia plans to restart international flights from July 15

15 July 2020

Russia will begin negotiations with other countries in order to restart international flights from July 15, according to its prime minister Tatiana Golikova. Flights will be permitted to countries where cases of the coronavirus do not exceed 40 per 100,000 people and where the average daily increase in new cases over the last 14 days is no higher than 1 percent. The current rate of transmission (R0) will also have to be less than one. Passengers coming to Russia will have to provide a negative Covid-19 test carried out within the last 72 hours before being allowed to enter the country. Golikova instructed the government to make a list of eligible countries and to start negotiations on reopening flights.
