CIC and Venture Café Warsaw officially opened their Innovation Campus. The 8,000 sqm campus includes CIC Warsaw, providing premium, flexible coworking and shared office space for startups, scaleups and innovative businesses as well as networking spaces operated by Venture Café Warsaw. These include District Hall, which offers a free and open public lounge and event spaces, and TrendHouse, a members-only space for entrepreneurs and innovators. CIC Warsaw is the first location of the Cambridge Innovation Center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 1999, CIC has hosted more than 6,500 companies. Google developed its mobile operating system Android at the first CIC center in Cambridge. Today, the Cambridge Innovation Center houses more than 2,000 entities that conduct both commercial and non-profit activities in many industries.
