The largest environmental project in Serbia on the construction of a desulphurization system at the Nikola Tesla A Thermal Power Plant in Obrenovac, which will reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by 10 times. Construction work on the project is underway, with completion on four of the power blocks scheduled for 2023. Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems and Jedinstvo from Uzice are leading the project. A tender for the refitting of the final two power blocks will be carried out this year.
