Prices for construction and assembly production in Poland increased by 2.6 percent y-o-y in May, according to preliminary data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). In comparison with the previous month, the growth of prices was recorded in building construction as well as in civil engineering by 0.2 percent each in May. The prices for specialized construction activities increased by 0.1 percent. In comparison with May 2019, a price increase was reported in building construction by 3 percent, civil engineering by 2.5 percent and specialized construction activities by 2.4 percent, according to GUS.
