The Oberwarter Siedlungsgenossenschaft OSG will invest more than €50m to build roughly 200 apartments, 30 houses and an elementary school on a 4.2 ha brownfield site in Bruckneudorf, Austria. The investor has decided to let the site’s two 40-meter grain silos remain standing and convert them into high-rise residential buildings. Bruckneudorf is a rapidly growing location near the A4/A6 junction southeast of Vienna. The OSG is betting on a high level of demand for the project, which will include cheap starter apartments. The area is located near the town’s train station, shops, and services.
