The German electronics company HDT, which produces printed electronic boards, is completing a plants in Svilajnac, which will employ a total of 200 hi-tech employees. HDT signed a contract with the municipality late last year for the purchase of land in its Free Zone and is now completing a 2,000 sqm factory, which will employ 100 workers, the furthest this summer. In the town’s second industrial zone, A2000 is building a 1,000 sqm plants where production should begin by the second half of the year, employing 100 people. Panasonic, Ariston, and Woschloch-Schwabe are other companies that have facilities in Svilajnac.
