7R is planning to implement a new technology to manage the risks connected with flat roofs at its 7R Park Gdańsk II logistics complex in Kowale. The “Smart Roof” platform, developed by Sense Monitoring, helps to prevent roof overload by alerting the building’s manager in advance of potential danger. The monitored roof of the 7R Park Gdańsk II logistics complex will cover more than 60,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. “We want to provide our customers with the best maintenance solutions available on the market for large buildings. Today, when climate change often triggers extreme weather events, agile and remote property management is becoming increasingly important,” said Maciej Krawiecki, head of leasing at 7R. “We are convinced that Sense Monitoring’s technology is the way to go. Access to data essential for the safety of employees and material resources stored in the building will guarantee our tenant’s peace of mind during their business operations. We, in turn, will be able to remotely monitor the situation in order to react in advance and effectively manage our entire network of properties.”
