17 April 2020

Czech Airlines has pushed back its timetable for the resumption of flights by 17 days in accordance with the decision of numerous European airlines, including Austria Airlines. That leaves the only major airline currently planning to run flights to Prague beginning May 1 British Airways. Smartwings Group’s spokeswoman Vladimíra Dufková said the airline had to adjust its schedule to the current reality. “At the moment, flights have been cancelled until May 17, some of them until the beginning of June,” she said. The only airlines currently operating flights from the Prague airport are the Belarus and Bulgarian national carriers. KLM is currently planning to return to Prague beginning May 4, while Ryanair’s goal is May 8, including flights to Italy.
