Automobile plants in the Czech Republic are pushing back their opening times by another week. Hyundai had already pushed back its downtime from April 6 until April 14, but this has now been extended by yet another week. The company’s employees have been getting paid 70 percent of their wages for sitting at home since March 23. Škoda Auto has also extended the closure of its three plants in the country until April 20. Originally, it had hoped to be able to re-open by April 6. Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile in Kolin also remains closed as well.
