Serbia’s transport sector has suffered €110m in losses since the outbreak of the coronavirus crisis according to the country’s Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic. She said that Serbian Air on its own had lost €40m in revenues in that short time and said that losses to the entire air transport sector was even greater. The damage is spilling over into the other forms of transport as well such as water transport, where passenger traffic has ceased on large cruisers along with regular rail connections. Cargo transportation is also slightly down compared to expectations.
