Total modern office stock in Lublin at the end of 2019 amounted to 191,300 sqm in 48 buildings. The city is the seventh regional office market in Poland in terms of supply, and it has the largest amount of modern office space in the eastern part of the country. There are currently 22,000 sqm of office space under construction and an additional 29,000 sqm in the planning phase. “The demand for office space in Lublin last year amounted to almost 9,000 sqm. All the contracts were dominated by new agreements, which accounted for 88 percent of the total transaction volume, while renegotiations of agreements accounted for 11 percent,” said Karol Piekarski, regional director at Colliers International in Lublin. The largest transactions signed in the city last year included the record-breaking Santander Bank Polska contract at CZ Office Park A (4,700 sqm) and the renegotiation and expansion of Predica at Gray Office (1,000 sqm).
