Belpointe to build a resi-commercial scheme in Sarasota

Belpointe Capital has submitted plans with the City of Sarasota to build a mixed-use development. The company paid $20m for a 5-acre parcel that currently houses a 236,291 sq ft shopping center along Main Street. The center will be demolished and replaced with a two-tower, 10-story building that will feature 418 residential units and 50,700 sq ft of commercial space connected to an existing five-story parking garage.
