Doosan Bobcat EMEA, a leader in the construction machinery sector, has opened a new European center within its factory complex in the Czech town of Dobříš. The €250m center, which will also service the company’s Middle East and African markets, replaces the company’s center which was located in Waterloo, Belgium. Bobcat’s 1,400 employees in Dobříš includes 150 that are focused on development and another 200 focused on the company’s management. The 3-storey office building will be used by 200 people in 3,370 sqm of space. The parking lot for the new building is equipped with charging stations for electric cars. Doosan Bobcat has invested CZK 3bn since opening its factory in Dobříš in 2007.
