Housing prices in Croatia up 10.4% in Q2

Housing prices in Croatia increased by 10.4 percent y-o-y in the second quarter of this year, according to the European Statistical Office. The performance is more than double the average reported in EU states. Only Hungary (14 percent) and Luxembourg (11.4 percent) reported bigger increases in the residential sector in Q2. Portugal came in right behind Croatia, with housing prices jumping 10.1 percent y-o-y for the quarter. Prices in Italy, by comparison, fell by 0.2 percent.
