MCB Real Estate and Artemis Real Estate Partners paid $152m for a Washington, DC, office building. Liberty Place is a 12-story, 174,000 sq ft mixed-use asset. With 92-percent occupancy, tenants includes Alibaba Group Holding, ConocoPhillips, Fidelity Investments and Toyota, Starbucks and FedEx. The seller, Paramount Group, invested $13.4m into LEED Gold-certified renovations and new features like an expanded roof deck, an oversized fitness center, a modernized lobby and elevators and a conference center. Eastdil Secured represented Paramount in the transaction.
