Biovet, a subsidiary of the drug maker Huvepharma, opened a new factory in Peshtera, southern Bulgaria, following a €150m investment. The project was supported by a €100m loan from the European Investment Bank. The factory will produce enzymes, probiotics and other pharmaceutical products. The company plans to hire 200 employees for the site. Biovet already operates three factories in Bulgaria in Botevgrad, Razgrad, Peshtera.
