Electrolux is planning to upgrade its high-end refrigerator production plant in Nyiregyhaza, northeastern Hungary. The value of the investment will be around €100m. Renovation work will take place between 2020 and 2022. Production, meanwhile, will be outsourced to its plant in Jaszbereny, a city located east of Budapest, starting next year. The Swedish home appliances maker said its goal was to boost efficiency at its Nyiregyhaza plant. It employs nearly 3,000 people in Hungary.
