Hungary’s trade surplus grew to €276m in July, a €19m-increase y-o-y. Exports and imports both rose 7.6 percent y-o-y, according to recent data released by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office. Exports totaled €9.003bn, while imports amount to €8.7bn for the month. During the first six months of 2019, exports increased 3.8 percent to €64.021bn, and imports rose 5.8 percent to €60.659bn. Between January and July, the country’s trade surplus remained at €3.361bn.
