The Montenegrin government will invest €9m to build another cable car at the Kolašin 1600 ski resort. The government’s public works administration signed a contract with the Doppelmayr-Kolašin consortium, which will oversee the project. The ski lift will connect the Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600 resorts and expected to accommodate 2,600 skiers per hour. Construction should take a year to complete. The government has already invested €17m in the construction of the existing cable car, base station, ski slopes, access roads and related facilities.
