In southeastern Bulgaria, in the city of Svilengrad, the US-based fund BC Industries will invest around €150m in a new tourist complex. Construction is already underway on the 61,000 sqm complex, which is being built on a 14.3 ha plot near the Kapitan Adnreevo checkpoint near the Maritsa motorway. It will offer a hotel, a games room, space, swimming pool, restaurants and shopping. The hotel will have 624 on 9 floors, making it the second largest in the country. The investment, which is being handled through a Bulgarian representative of BC Industries, will offer work for 780 people.
