Fraenkische CZ to shift some production to Romania

12 August 2019

The autoparts suppliers Fraenkische CZ, which operates a factory with 1,000 employees near Třebič, is having such trouble finding labor that it will be moving some of its capacity to a smaller facility it has in Romania. Fraenkische already has around 100 Hungarians on its books in Třebič, who were supposed to help meet its goal of CZK 2.5bn in turnover for 2019. The Czech News Agency reports that the planned move will still have to be approved by the company’s clients, who include Volkswagen, Daimler and BMW, since their products would be made 900 km away.
