The Related Group secured $72m from SunTrust Bank to refinance Town Westshore, currently underway in Tampa’s Westshore Marina District The four-story, 396-unit waterfront property broke ground in January 2018. The project will feature a clubhouse with a catering kitchen, a spa, beach-entry swimming and electric car charging. The design is by MSA Architects, while LandSouth Construction is the general contractor. The site is located near downtown Tampa and St. Petersburg, with access to the Crosstown Expressway. The surrounding area houses a marina, restaurants, retail space and other residential properties. The Related Group acquired the 8.5-acre site for $11.81m in February 2017.
