Construction has started in eastern Croatia on a new factory for automotive parts by TMD Group. The factory is located in Gradacac, in the Babina Greda municipality, and will employ 100 people once it’s completed. The 6,500 sqm plant should be completed and operational by 2020. Until then, new employees will work in other TMD facilities of the Croatian-based company TMD. It also operates in Bosnia, producing external and internal rings for automobile bearings for the world’s largest automobile manufacturers in four plants. In 2018 it opened new plant in Gradacac where it employs 71 people.
