A new multiplex is scheduled to open in Sarajevo’s Marijin Dvor district next year. The 5,000 sqm Kino Cineplexx will feature eight screening halls capable of seating 1,400 people. The opening is planned for June 2020. Cineplexx International GmbH operates 48 multiplexes and six traditional cinemas in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Italy and Romania. It employs around 1,500 people.
