PepsiCo and Czech-based KMV have purchased the Serbian water producer Knjaz Milos from Mid Europe Partners, a major European investment fund. The deal is exepcted to go through in the third quarter of 2019. Knjaz Milos is the leading mineral water producer in the region. Mid Europe Partners bought Knjaz Milos in 2015, with the companies Bambi and Imlek involved in the deal. KMV from the Czech Republic is the biggest water producer in the country and the biggest distributor for non-alcoholic drinks in CEE.
