Leading Cities Invest, a KanAm Grund Group fund, has purchased the Renaissance Building in Warsaw from a fund managed by GLL Real Estate Partners (GLL). The deal marks the buyer’s first acquisition in Poland. Renaissance, a 5,250 sqm building, is located at the intersection of of Mokotowska and Marszałkowska at Plac Zbawiciela. It was originally built in 1902 and was redeveloped as an office building in 2006, prior to an extensive refurbishment carried out by GLL in 2017. The office portion of the building is fully-let to Viacom Media Networks. The seller was advised by Dentons and CBRE on the transaction. Leading Cities Invest’s 22-asset portfolio is spread across Germany, Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Poland.
