EBRD expects economic growth in Western Balkans in 2019

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is forecasting economic growth for countries in the Western Balkans this year. Albania’s economy is expected to grow by 3.9 percent in 2019 and 2020, while Bosnia and North Macedonia will each see 3 percent growth. Serbia’s economy is expected to slow this year to 3.5 percent but increase the following year to 3.8 percent, according to EBRD. Montenegro’s economy is also expected to decrease this year to 2.8 percent and drop to 2.6 percent in 2020.
