Polish warehouse market closing in on 17 million sqm

Modern warehouse stock in Poland reached 16.6 million sqm at the end of the first quarter of 2019, according to Colliers International. Totaling 4 million sqm, Warsaw accounted for nearly 25 percent of the total supply in the country. In the first three months of this year, 507,000 sqm were delivered to the industrial market in Poland. The highest level of new supply was recorded in Central Poland and Wrocław, where developers delivered 89,700 sqm and 84,200 sqm respectively of modern warehouse space, which accounted for more than a third of the total area delivered in the previous quarter in Poland, writes Colliers international.
