The investment group DRFG began construction at the end of March on the automobile supplier Cataler’s new factory in Týniště nad Orlicí, just east of Hradec Králové. Hospodářské noviny reports that Cataler, a Japanese concern, provides catalysts for diesel and gasoline engines and that the factory will have a capacity of around 1 million units annually. Production is set to begin in 2020. HN writes that the budget for the 22,000 sqm facility is around CZK 200m. “We’re pleased that a portion of the investment capital of DRFG Real Estate is going towards these more complicated development projects with higher added value,” said the director of DRFG’s real estate division Patrik Tuza. “This isn’t a change in the strategy of the group but rather a supplement.”
