Kaufland opened a second base at logistics center in the Rakovski Industrial Zone near Plovdiv. The German hypermarket chain, which is part of Schwarz Group, invested more than €33m in the project. At the facility will be employed about 100 people. The location supplies the company’s 59 stores across Bulgaria, including a newest opening in Veliko Tarnovo. Kaufland has invested more than €119m since first opening the center in 2005.
