The town of Nošovice may be better known in business circles for its Hyundai car factory, but Radegast also runs a brewery in town and it’s begun construction of a new filling plant. In an event attended by the city’s mayor along, the brewery’s diretor and the general director of Plzenske Prazdroj, the new 10,000 sqm facility’s foundation stone was set in place. “Two years ago we completed a new filling plant in Pilsen and this year we’re investing in it in Nošovice,” said Plzenske Prazdroj’s director Grant Liversage. “We’re reacting to growing consumer demand for our products.” Once operational, Radegast will be able to fill 60,000 beer cans per hour, which works out to as much as 300,000 hectoliters annually. The television station Polar reports that a new storage facility is being built as part of the investment.
