Belgrade commanded the highest real estate property prices in Serbia last year, according to recently published data by the Republic Geodetic Authority. A total of 37,500 apartments and 12,000 garages, offices and warehouses were sold across Serbia in 2018, the data shows. The most expensive apartment deal closed at the Belgrade Waterfront complex for more than €1.1m, where the highest per sqm is €7,866. The project’s garage space was selling for €31,800 last year. A 1,400 sqm office space in the capital’s city center, meanwhile, changed hands for €5m.
