Siemens Games Consortium to build 15 wind turbines near Mostar

Elektroprivreda BiH signed a €69m contract with the Siemens Games Consortium to design, develop and operate 15 wind turbines, with a total installed capacity of 48 MW, at the Podvelezje Wind Power Plant near Mostar. Construction is scheduled to take just over 21 months. German development bank KfW will provide part of the financing, while the rest will be covered by Elektroprivreda BiH. This plant is expected to produce about 130GWh of energy per year. The Siemens Games Consortium includes Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Ltd. Croatia and Siemens Wind Power A / S Denmark.
