More than 17,600 flats were sold in Hungary last year, up 23 percent from 2017, according to the most recently published statistics. The most popular units ranged between 40 to 80 sqm. Country homes also attracted a lot of investors. Since 2017, the number of units for sale grew by 76 percent to 10,000 units. In Budapest, flat sales were up 40 percent, while construction was up 30 percent.
