The German-Austrian consortium Wacker Neuson and Adient, part of Johnson Controls, are planning to develop two new facilities in Kragujevac, the fourth largest city in Serbia, where 300 people will be employed, according to local news reports. The companies paid €5.8m to city administrators to purchase 14 ha of land at the motorway exit going towards Batocina. Wacker Neuson already produces equipment and building machine components in Kragujevac, while Adient produces seats and car interiors at two facilities.
