The wiring supplier HIK-SM doo Sanski Most – Kabelkonfektionirung is investing €3m in a new plant that’s being built in Sanski Most, Bosnia. The German-based company has already employed 20 people to work in the new facility, once they’ve received training in Germany. Production is scheduled to begin in March. The country’s prime minister Mustafa Ruznic says the investment is an important step in the revival of the region’s economy. “Our intent is to restore and strengthen the Una-Sana Canton’s economy through partnerships between the Government and the business sector, with numerous forms of support for potential investors,” he told the Federal News Agency.
