Flydubai reported substantial growth on its routes to Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria last year. The airline operator’s Dubai-Sofia route increased by 56 percent, while its passenger volume for Dubai-Belgrade jumped by 35 percent. Dubai-Bucharest was up 45 percent. The carrier also reported a 42-percent spike on its flights between Russia, while passenger traffic on its Ukraine route grew by 2 percent. Flydubai reported €1.5bn in revenue for 2018.
