The intercity bus operator Flixbus plans to expand its range of destinations and its summer routes. Beginning in June, the company will offer more than 20 destinations from Hungary, including locations along the Croatian and Slovenian coasts. Trips from Budapest to the Adriatic take around seven hours. Among the Istrian peninsula destinations to be included in Flixbus coverage are Umag, Porec, Rovinj, Pula and Rijeka. Italian routes will subsequently added, connecting the Hungarian capital with Venice and Trieste.
