The automotive parts supplier Enmech Hungary plans to invest HUF 6.4bn into its plant in Pecel in order to expand its production capacity. It’s secured a commitment from the Hungarian government for a contribution of HUF 641 towards the defraying the costs of the project. Completion of the construction is expected in October. The Mektec Europe subsidiary will be producing car batteries in the new facility along with sensors used in self-driving cars.
