Talanx AG, in partnership with Ampega Real Estate, acquired two Hilton hotels in Munich from FREO Group for an undisclosed price. The deal includes Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn, totaling 356 rooms. FREO acquired the projects from Deutsche Bahn in 2016 and broke ground on the hotels that same year. The properties, which opened in mid-2018, are operated by Foremost Hospitality Management.
“The purchase of these two hotels fits perfectly into our strategy of investing in properties with stable cash flows. The Munich hotel market is one of Germany’s most attractive. It benefits from the major drawing power of the Bavarian capital as a business and trade fair location. The high occupancy rate of the new Hilton Hotels bears this out,” said Djam Mohebbi-Ahari of Ampega Real Estate.
